The MAHLE Gen. 2 LB580 PAS sensor detects pedalling and supplies the data the drive system uses to adjust assistance. It is designed for MAHLE X20, X30 and XS systems, making it a replacement for those servicing e-bikes with these motors.
The maximum diameter is 5 mm, so the sensor fits inside compact bottom brackets. It weighs 10 g. Before ordering, check that your motor is X20, X30 or XS, as the sensor is specified for these three systems. If you carry out repairs, this spare lets you offer sensor replacement to customers with MAHLE e-bikes.
