The trail version of the Maxxis Minion DHR II features the same tread as its downhill counterpart, but uses a single-ply casing to reduce weight. With side knobs borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF but widened to provide more support, the Minion DHR II has no rivals in corners.
The centre tread features ramped knobs to improve acceleration and sipes that allow a smooth transition when leaning into turns. Paddle-shaped knobs on the centre tread dig into the ground under hard braking and help keep the bike under control. Pair it with a Minion DHF to lead the way on aggressive trail rides!

TR- Tubeless Ready
UST-certified Maxxis tubeless mountain bike tyres feature the latest technology for lighter tubeless tyres. This technology offers better puncture resistance, improved air retention and greater strength at a lower weight than previous tubeless designs. Adding a thin layer of fabric coated with a special rubber compound has created a lighter, stronger and more airtight casing.
EXO-Protection
This material is added to the sidewalls of selected mountain bike tyres and is extremely resistant to cuts and abrasion. This densely woven, ultralight layer is highly flexible and does not affect tyre performance.
WT - Wide Trail
WT construction optimises the tyre's tread and volume for modern rims. Traditional tyres are designed around narrower rims and can develop an overly square profile, reducing performance. WT tyres are optimised for 35 mm wide rims and work correctly with 30 and 35 mm rims.
