Syncros Tofino V 1.0 Saddle with Cut-Out

Our top endurance saddle, the Tofino V, is part of our V-Concept saddle programme, developed for riders with greater flexibility, particularly in the pelvis and lumbar spine, who tend to adopt a more aggressive aerodynamic riding position. Their position on the saddle resembles a V, hence the name. These riders sit towards the front of the saddle. This riding position generally places more load on the saddle and requires a slightly different shape. The 1.0 features our carbon fibre rails for exceptionally low weight. The cut-out version is for riders with increased sensitivity around the pubic symphysis. Female riders generally rest on the front of their pelvis and the centre of the saddle nose. The cut-out version transfers weight to the bones on either side instead of the centre. Developed in collaboration with renowned bike fitting company gebioMized, this saddle was designed to offer the best possible fit from a production saddle.

Syncros was founded in 1986 on Vancouver’s North Shore by Peter Hamilton and Pippin Osborne, who handcrafted the first aluminium components. Since 2012, it has been part of SCOTT Sports, based in Givisiez, Switzerland. Today, it offers wheels, saddles, integrated handlebars and accessories to accompany cyclists on trails, roads, gravel and city streets.
