Braking - HOPE X2 Brake Pads

Organic brake pads are made with a semi-metallic compound rich in organic material, giving them a more immediate bite (because the pad heats up very quickly and reaches its optimum operating temperature) and very low noise levels thanks to their softer composition. With less metal content, the pad is less suited to handling very high temperatures. Organic brake pads have the shortest lifespan: bear in mind that our organic brake pad lasts twice as long as a competitor's organic brake pad and even three times as long as a shimano pad (which is made from resin and is therefore extremely soft).
