Syncros Tofino V 1.5 Saddle with Cut-Out

Our dedicated endurance saddle, the Tofino V, is part of our V-Concept saddle programme, developed for more flexible cyclists, particularly in the pelvis and lumbar spine, who tend to adopt a more aggressive aerodynamic position on the saddle. The shape they adopt when seated resembles a V, hence the name. These cyclists sit on the front of the saddle. The riding position is generally more loaded and requires a slightly different saddle shape. The 1.5 has titanium rails for the best comfort. The cut-out version is for those with greater sensitivity in the pubic symphysis region. Female cyclists generally sit on the front of the pelvis and the central part of the saddle nose. The cut-out version transfers weight to the bones on either side rather than the centre. Developed in collaboration with renowned bike fitting company Gebeomized, this saddle was designed to offer the ultimate fit solution for a production saddle.

Syncros was founded in 1986 on Vancouver’s North Shore by Peter Hamilton and Pippin Osborne, who handcrafted the first aluminium components. Since 2012, it has been part of SCOTT Sports, based in Givisiez, Switzerland. Today, it offers wheels, saddles, integrated handlebars and accessories to accompany cyclists on trails, roads, gravel and city streets.
