Technologies

SmartGRIP Compound
SmartGrip Compound uses the most advanced chemical technologies to achieve two properties that are typically opposed in off-road riding: mechanical strength and chemical grip. This formulation delivers a level of performance that allows it to be used throughout the entire rubber layer making up the tread. Using a single compound ensures that performance does not decline as tread wear increases, a problem typical of multi-layer compounds. Pirelli chooses the best compound for each tread and size, with no compromise between grip and handling in dry and wet conditions.
