Soloist. It is a name that comes from deep within our history, yet is immediately familiar to anyone with memories of bike racing dating back to the early 2000. It was the first choice for World Tour riders racing at the time for team CSC and the Cervélo Test Team. Now it is time to introduce it to a new generation. No longer a product solely for professionals, the new Soloist was designed for racers who train every week. It balances weight and aerodynamic performance to deliver a bike that is "perfectly balanced". The Soloist is a little lighter than the S5, but much more aerodynamic than the R5, and adopts the threaded bottom bracket standard found on the R5-CX. It is a road bike that can accommodate both mechanical and electronic shifting, cover training miles in all weather conditions and has what it takes to move to the front of the bunch at the decisive moment. This is the Soloist.
