The Addict has been redesigned this year to offer even more of everything you love about high-performance road bikes. To create the new Addict Premium, we took design cues and high-tech features that riders love from racing platforms and toned them down to deliver a ride that is still responsive enough for fast rides and hard efforts on the pedals, but will not leave you feeling shattered after just 30 kilometres.
The Addict Premium has slightly more upright and relaxed geometry than race bikes, so you can cover kilometres at your own pace, at the height of the season or on Sunday rides, without having to contort yourself to accommodate a long reach and low stack. The engineers have also designed the frameset to offer vertical compliance without sacrificing power transfer or efficiency, so when you find a road that lets you make use of the Addict's clearance for 38 mm tyres, you can enjoy a smooth ride. Performance is still there whenever you want it, though. The Addict Premium features our lightweight yet strong HMX carbon layup for rapid acceleration, effortless climbing and the agility the Addict is known for.
The Addict Premium goes wherever you go, however you want and for as long as you ride. And if you ride too far, the in-frame Save-The-Day kit opens up to help you out with an inner tube, a tyre lever and a mini pump. The Addict Premium is equipped with the top-end 2× Dura-Ace Di2 Shimano electronic groupset and fast, stable Fulcrum Wind 42 Disc wheels with Schwalbe PRO ONE tyres, so you can ride long distances at whatever speed you choose.
