MMR Aelion 50 Disc Brake Road Bike

The new AELION family is the result of meticulous development aimed at balancing light weight, stiffness, aerodynamics, and comfort.

Forged and validated in competition with the Caja Rural–Seguros RGA team, it stands out for its responsiveness and versatility in the most demanding conditions.

AELION’s development combined advanced digital simulations, structural testing, and validation in real race conditions. The prototype was tested by professional cyclists during demanding training sessions and real race scenarios, including the Vuelta a España, allowing every detail to be refined based on direct feedback from riders and technical staff.

This same development is carried directly over to the bike raced by the Caja Rural–Seguros RGA team.

Founded in Asturias in the 1980s by Manuel Menéndez, MMR is now based in Avilés and offers road, mountain, gravel and electric bikes. Daniel Alonso relaunched the brand in 2008. In-house development and collaboration with teams help shape its bicycles.
