The introduction of the brand-new Addict RC laid the foundations for the development of an innovative new SYNCROS cockpit. With modern road groupsets featuring outward-angled brake levers, the aim was to create an aerodynamic handlebar incorporating a subtle flare in the drops that would integrate seamlessly with the brake levers, saving watts while also improving handling. We also improved cable routing and redesigned the clamping system to shed extra grams. Multiple cockpit configurations ensure optimal adaptability for every rider.

Syncros was founded in 1986 on Vancouver’s North Shore by Peter Hamilton and Pippin Osborne, who handcrafted the first aluminium components. Since 2012, it has been part of SCOTT Sports, based in Givisiez, Switzerland. Today, it offers wheels, saddles, integrated handlebars and accessories to accompany cyclists on trails, roads, gravel and city streets.
