DESCRIPTION

The extra-fine Merino wool sock is designed for training and sporting activities in cool, cold and winter temperatures. We chose extra-fine Merino to make this sock extremely lightweight yet very warm. Merino wool socks are breathable and keep the foot pleasantly warm. Ribbing around the middle hugs the foot more closely and ensures the sock fits perfectly. Against the skin, the sock feels pleasantly natural.

HOW AND WHEN TO WEAR IT

The thermal Merino wool sock, ideal for cycling, running and walking, can be worn when temperatures range from -5° to +10°.

The temperature range indicates the extreme limits of use. Use the midpoint of the range as a reference to assess your needs, which vary according to the sport, weather conditions and your own temperature regulation.
To increase warmth and protection, combining several technical layers is recommended, in keeping with the Biotex philosophy. Check which size suits you based on your shoe size, choose the colour and find out when you can wear them and train with a technical, high-performance product. The thermal sock is backed by Biotex’s experience. The garment retains its technical qualities over the years and through repeated washing: simply follow a few basic rules for garment care.

CARE DEL GARMENT

Take care of your Biotex garments to ensure long-lasting use. We recommend washing the garment before use to prevent possible colour transfer to other garments. To preserve its properties, we recommend a gentle wash inside out at a maximum temperature of 40° and air drying. Make sure all zips, buttons and Velcro fastenings are closed. Avoid or reduce the use of fabric softener, as it inhibits breathability. Do not place on radiators or other direct heat sources, and do not iron. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee the garment’s effectiveness. Bright/fluorescent colours may fade.

About the manufacturer

Biotex was founded in Faenza in 1990 from an idea by Antonio Visani and is still based in the Romagna town today. It makes technical underwear and clothing for cycling and mountain biking, supporting riders throughout the seasons. Its name combines “Bio”, life, and “Tex”, fabric: a reference to the idea of well-being through what we wear.
