The lightest frame ever made by Scott

Weighing just 640 g, the new Addict RC frame is the lightest ever created by the brand, a full 300 g lighter than the previous model. This was made possible by innovative manufacturing techniques, such as the PP Mandrel process, which ensures highly precise moulding of internal surfaces and transition areas.

The inside of the frame is perfectly clean, with no voids or wrinkles, thanks to an optimised layup that eliminates all excess resin, retaining only what is essential for stiffness and strength. With a thickness of just 0.6 mm in some areas, the frame achieves a perfect balance between low weight and strength.

Optimised aerodynamics and speed

The new Addict RC has been designed to be 12 watts faster, significantly improving aerodynamic performance. This is also reflected in the new Syncros IC-R100-SL cockpit, an integrated handlebar with a slight flare at the drops for better brake lever positioning and superior control.

Thanks to a new clamp design and an optimised carbon layup, the cockpit is also 40 g lighter than the previous model, while maintaining strength and stiffness. The Syncros computer and accessory mounts have also been redesigned, with weight reduced by up to 70% compared with standard mounts.

Uncompromising comfort

The Scott Addict RC is not only a fast, lightweight road bike, but also offers superior comfort. Thanks to the new, more fibre-friendly SP-R100-SL seatpost design, comfort has improved by 36%. For those seeking even more comfort, the SP-R101-CF seatpost, available from the Addict RC 10 upwards, increases comfort by a further 30% compared with the SL version.

This seatpost features a flexible rear cover that conceals a magnetic system for integrating a Syncros rear light, ideal for rides at dusk or in low visibility.

With tyre clearance of 34 mm, the new Addict RC offers greater versatility, allowing you to fit wider tyres to tackle more demanding roads or simply enjoy an even more comfortable ride.
