SRAM Apex XPLR PG-1231 Cassette

The SRAM Apex XPLR PG-1231 cassette is a 12-speed cassette with teeth ranging from 11 to 44, designed for riders who want more range in a single cassette. It fits a conventional 11-speed freehub body and offers a 400% range: the smooth progression keeps the gaps smaller when riding fast, while the larger sprockets help on climbs.
The cassette is available only in a gold finish, so the choice is about compatibility rather than colour. It works exclusively with XPLR rear derailleurs and a HG-Freehub freehub body, and is compatible with Flattop chains. Before ordering, check your rear derailleur and freehub body.

Founded in Chicago in 1987 by Stan Day and a group of cycling enthusiasts, SRAM is still based in the US city today. It makes drivetrains and brakes for road, gravel and mountain bikes. Its story began with a single product: Grip Shift, the shifter that lets riders change gear by twisting the grip.
