Lezyne Strip+ Ai Alert StVZO Rear Light

The Lezyne Strip+ Ai Alert StVZO rear light is a StVZO-approved LED light with a deceleration sensor: when you slow down, it emits a light signal to indicate that you are braking. It is designed for evening rides in town or on the road. It has 10 LED with 270° optics and a lightweight composite body weighing 71 g.

Maximum light output is 40 lumens. The 20 lumen Economy mode lasts up to 17 hours, while the 40 lumen Blast mode lasts 7 hours. The 1900 mAh battery recharges via waterproof USB-C, and the cable is not included. A silicone mounting strap is supplied. The only colour is black, so the choice is about the mode: Economy for long rides, Blast when more light is needed.

Founded in 2007 in San Luis Obispo, California, by Micki Kozuschek, Lezyne is now based in Reno, Nevada. It makes pumps, lights, multi-tools and bags to accompany cyclists on their rides. In 2011, it began developing its own LED lights.
