The SRAM Rival 1 crankset is an aluminium single-chainring crankset with a 42 or 50-tooth chainring, designed for tarmac, cyclocross and triathlon. The manufacturer lists it for varied terrain, from road racing to off-road rides. The black aluminium cranks and GXP bottom bracket make it an option for those looking for a simple crankset.
It pairs 42 or 50-tooth chainrings with 170, 172,5 or 175 mm cranks (the 170 mm version only with the 42-tooth chainring). Choose according to the gearing you need and your height. The GXP bottom bracket requires separate cups, which are not included.
