The cassette, Sram Red 1090 with 10 speeds, is super-light and extremely quiet, offering significantly superior performance. The eight central sprockets are machined from a single block of high-quality steel to increase stiffness while offering a lower weight than a titanium cassette. A StealthRing elastomer sits between each sprocket to reduce vibration and noise. The cut-outs on the rear sprocket further reduce weight while increasing stiffness.
