The SRAM Red braze-on adaptor is a bracket for fitting a front derailleur to a braze-on mount, a mounting point welded to the frame. It is easy to fit and remove, which is useful when changing derailleurs or maintaining your bike.
The product comes in two versions, both black: 31.8 mm and 34.9 mm, the latter with wide spacing. Choose the size according to your frame and the derailleur you want to fit, and check compatibility before buying. It is designed for braze-on front derailleurs from the RED 22, RED, Force 22, Force, Rival 22, Rival and Apex ranges, so check that your groupset is on this list.

Founded in Chicago in 1987 by Stan Day and a group of cycling enthusiasts, SRAM is still based in the US city today. It makes drivetrains and brakes for road, gravel and mountain bikes. Its story began with a single product: Grip Shift, the shifter that lets riders change gear by twisting the grip.
