Bora Ultra WTO 45 Campagnolo offers the perfect balance of speed, agility and stability, the best choice for all-round cyclists. The rim design takes account of road riding conditions, not just those recreated in a wind tunnel, resulting in a profile that reduces aerodynamic drag as efficiently as possible.

Now even lighter, thanks to its Hand Made Ultra-Light Carbon (H.U.L.C.) construction, Bora Ultra WTO 45 has thinner elliptical Aero spokes and hidden nipples to help cut through the air. The exclusively designed Campagnolo carbon hub body is securely attached to an aluminium flange, and the integrated spoke seats ensure perfect alignment with the rim. A stunning C-LUX finish and new, subtle Bora Ultra graphics give the wheels an elegant, stylish appearance.

Campagnolo CULT ceramic bearings spin effortlessly inside both the aerodynamic carbon front hub and the aluminium rear hub. The oversized freehub with a 36-tooth ratchet is compatible with N3W, XDR or HG standards.

Bora Ultra WTO 45 rims, designed for tyre widths starting from 23 mm, are aerodynamically optimised for 25 mm tyres.

Undeniable efficiency

• The overall efficiency of the wheels is determined by overcoming aerodynamic drag, rolling resistance and the effects of weight and gradient.

• Rolling resistance for this rim profile was found to be lower with an internal width of 19 mm, particularly with 25 mm or 28 mm tyres, but aerodynamics are optimised for 25 mm tyres.

• With a combined weight (bike and rider) of 87 kg, the rolling resistance of a 25 mm tyre at 40 km / h is as follows: tubular 30 watts, clincher 28 watts, tubeless 25 watts.

• For this reason, Bora Ultra WTO features 2-Way Fit rims for tubeless, tubeless ready or clincher tyres.

Perfect alignment

• Campagnolo moulds the nipple and valve holes directly into the rims, avoiding the need to drill the carbon fibre afterwards

• Each spoke hole has an internal nipple seat, enclosed within the carbon rim lay-up and aligned with a specific hub.

• Aero Mo-Mag nipples are perfectly aligned with each spoke and allow very precise wheel assembly, with reduced localised stress and improved fatigue life.

Stop and go

• All new Bora Ultra WTO wheels are designed for AFS disc rotors (centerlock compatible).

• The exclusive Campagnolo G3 spoke pattern improves drive torque transfer.

• The CULT ceramic bearings used in Bora Ultra WTO hubs run 5 and ½ times more smoothly than standard steel bearings.

• The oversized freehub with a 36-tooth ratchet is responsive and highly durable, and is compatible with N3W, XDR, HG freehub bodies.
