Ceramic Speed T47/68 Shimano Bottom Bracket

The T47 threaded bottom bracket uses the oversized interface of PF30 and EVO386, but with the benefit and peace of mind of a threaded interface. T47/68 positions the bearings outside the width of the frame and is compatible with T47 outboard frame designs that are 68 mm wide. T47 is a standard created by custom frame builders. It is threaded, has an internal diameter of 47 mm and is 68 mm wide. It offers the design benefits of being oversized and wide, as well as the practical benefits of threading.

The cups have CeramicSpeed bearings pressed into them. Two bearing options are available. The standard bearing has CeramicSpeed balls and hardened steel races. The coated bearing has the same balls running on a 3-micron-thick coating applied over the hardened steel races for greater durability and even less friction.

This bottom bracket is compatible with 68 mm frames.
