Hope Tech 4 E4 Disc Brake with Braided Steel Hose and Left-Hand Lever

The Hope Tech 4 E4 disc brake once again outperforms its popular predecessor. The 4-piston brake achieves this with improved ergonomics, greater braking power and minimised wear. The brake ratio has been fine-tuned using real riding data to achieve the best efficiency and a characteristically precise braking feel. The linear relationship between lever force and brake pressure allows easy, intuitive control of braking performance.

The shape of the Enduro brake lever has been revised for improved ergonomics and optimised transmission of braking power. Clever design has increased the brake fluid reservoir volume while reducing the overall height, giving the entire lever a more slender appearance. The sturdy, practical hinged clamp reduces weight and ensures a secure grip. Among other things, this contributes to more universal shifter integration, which also improves cockpit ergonomics.

The lever position and brake bite point can be adjusted easily, precisely and quickly to suit individual requirements without tools.



The four-piston brake calliper offers up to 30% more braking power than the previous model. The high-quality pistons and low-friction bearing ensure smooth operation with low wear. A phenolic insulating layer protects components from heat during intensive use, ensuring maximum operational reliability.

The brake calliper uses a Post Mount fitting, and fluid is supplied through a high-quality braided steel hose. This has a total length of 1700mm and can be shortened to fit your bike. This allows it to be used as a rear or front brake.
